Welcome new and Thank you All Patrons for your support - storytime and some things we wanted to share

There are many new people here joining in this and last couple of months. So we thought sharing one more welcome note and explain all the content available so far.

As you guys know how much we appreciate your activities on Patreon/Discord community we would like to invite all of those who didn't join yet to join and share their practices with us and other students.

A little bit about our background - (but, be sure to watch the welcome video - there are much more graphics and explanations) - is that we are Professional Miniature Artists, as well as Artists of Applied arts from Serbia.
Since our joining to miniature community our style was distinctive and recognized as something different and new on this scene. With some up's and downs our journey unfold new paths leading us to travel teaching students all over the planet, as well having guests for classes, attending events etc.. Making Patreon was top request from our followers for many years before we decided to finally dedicate to teach online. We have been sharing advices, tips and tutorials long before making Patreon, but to be able to dedicate, we had to make it part of our work routine. We still have some of public YouTube videos, and there will be more of those. And it is all possible because of your support.
We are preparing monthly content at least two videos and two pdf's, sometimes more but never less. Our plan is to get better in filming, editing, all the communications and things that we are not professional in (we are artists and teachers, but to be able to do our arts and teach there are many more things we had to learn or do and will do..)

Many people here already know that we had been working on renovations (rebuild) of an old house and made our new home and studio. This had to be done, and we believe by making this space and upgrading it in future month all the content will be better and better. Also we will be free to film not regarding the time or hour and to do much more things in this bigger space (now we have to deal with echo issues) but moving phase takes time especially in the first months.

For equipment's, new cameras, pc..etc.. it will have to wait a bit more since this pandemic affected everything, this incudes anything you want to buy/import. So many people here know that we have been searching for this new webcam over a year, good thing it's here and it brought few live streams, and will bring more..

Let's go to important stuff:
All the content since our creation of Patreon is still available on this platform, reach tags to easy navigate or just scroll down.

We are looking forward to bring more cool videos and stepbysteps for your all, and we are always listening to your feedback.

PS, We were long announcing new public video for Age of Squidmar - Eira bust. It is finally available for watch and it (and we) received many beautiful and few mean comments. We want to thank you all, for support, appreciation and understanding there is always something more and there are many different ways to approach to artwork.

Ps.Ps. - One topic we didn't wanted to address at the time, but it seems we have to is that on Patreon so far we had only one bad experience. It was in some of the first months when we had a new Patron, who was our Patron for only few days. In this few days, this person managed to write offensive things to us, being rude and offensive to others, clearly didn't followed any tutorial but was using discord to post some things he feels like posting. This wouldn't be an issue since we made discord with few channels : general - for general talks and posts, work in progress - for works in progress, finished projects - things that we sometimes feature on our stories, announcements : links to all content. etc...

This person was asking for comments on other artist works, to discuss how this person paint. We kindly (we were very polite despite the way this person talked to us) explained that we can't discuss other artists approach, that it is not related to our teaching and not fair to other artists. This Patron said that he got a approval to post this work and discuss it on his discord community, where we kindly reminded him that on this Discord channel are our Patreon Community member's. This Patron got so mad that he wrote us spicy feedback with all the offensive words and ugly accusations, calling us names and terms...that we decided to ignore, even as it is not so easy ignoring these kind of feedbacks and messages, especially when you did nothing bad to anybody. In any case, we knew that this person wrote to few people on Discord at that time, this is when we were thinking about addressing this situation, but we decided not to give any recognition to this person. It is sad hearing such hate speech from someone who don't know you, nor received some bad intention from us. The reason we are addressing this thing today is that next to some mean people in the new video comment section, to top notch that - this person appears out of nowhere to again call us names, and accuse us of false things, calling us rude or mean (by being rude and mean.. coincidence!?) ..anyway, this thing is not important but it affects our feeling and productivity, therefore we decided to finally share the story behind all reactions of this person. We are sorry he didn't like our content (if he watched it, probably not), we are said that we couldn't do anything to make this person stop attacking us and being aggressive. So realizing that this person's behavior will be long term we just wanted to clear it up and let you guys know the story behind.

Brighter topic, we are working on new content, so expect more things from us soon again.
Love from yours,

Mr&Mrs Craftworld

You guys are the best, we know the truth ❤ don't worry about the others. I am so happy I get to be home and practice more, even if it is a short time. Seeing your videos and tutorials gives me many new ideas, and I am building up my skills to paint some long awaited pieces. You guys are always so awesome and supportive, and I know you'll keep doing your best!!

You are great! I always love to read your updates and seeing what is going on behind the scene. The new video is awesome (as usual). It has a bunch of interesting information. I showed it to my mom (who recently got into minipainting) and she enjoyed it as well and said it was inspiring and encouraging to see you paint and explain your process. This person really needs a better hobby. People who don't have better things to do than spending their time being salty about something they don't enjoy, going on and on about how much they don't enjoy it and insulting other people most certainly have some issues of their own. And some people just like to be toxic, provoke others and never questioning their own behavior. Such people don't deserve any attention.

Trolls will be trolls. Ignore them long enough and they will wither away. Focus on the positive and constructive feedback. Your work is great and it helps a lot of people to become better painters.

Thanks for a nice update and overview. Love these this kind of “state of the union” post. I got one appreciate your content and these are times where does things goes according to plan. I think the important part is to continue to do what you can and love. Regarding more troublesome people, remember that you cant control what they say or do anymore than you can control the weather. Have pity on them because most likely they are struggling with other things in their life that are not even fully aware of and unfortunately you are the receiver of these frustrations. This happens all the time for a lot of people. Try to not letting it get to you. I and others can do our part by showing our gratitude more (which we probably should 🙂) and I’m fairly sure the people that enjoy your content vastly outnumbers those who express that they don’t. Have a great day and keep up the good work!

Zero tolerance for disorderly conduct is the way to go. Everyone deserves to work and practise their art in peace & quiet.

LushAbomination

Don't worry too much about salty people! Noone has to listen to being called names and such. You can always issue a ban and be gone with that if it bothers you too much.
