Moonlight Challenge FEEDBACK - Video Lesson (+ announcements)

Dear Craftworldians,

If you were a part of a Moonlight Challenge, it's FINALLY THAT DAY. And if you weren't it is never late for Painting a MOONLIGHT STORY. This Video Feedback was a REWARD we have promised to create, using some of the Moonlight Stories entries by our students.

Watch MOONLIGHT CHALLENGE TUTORIAL

This REWARD was planned for the summer, but since then, we added many things and benefits to our schedule, that you could see and experience on our Patreon. We didn't want to rush analyzing your pieces. We wanted to show all the good attributes of successful Moonlight Artworks.

Of course, there were more artworks done for this challenge, and we wish to include it all, as you guys did amazing works. But we decided to choose 10 works that we can use on bringing some of the important painting tips to light, as well as bringing further ideas and solutions.

Our plan and wish is for you all to take something good from these lessons. To use them in your future projects and maybe to have it as a helpful guide if you work on Moonlight/Nightly Ambience topics again, or for the first time.

Enjoy this lesson, Thank you once again for participating. And thank you all whose works we used on the video. :)

Ps. Watch until the end to see a sneak peek of the upcoming tutorial, as well as an announcement on the upcoming "challenge". :)

Yours,

Aleksandra & Marko

Great video, nice to see how far the little touches can improve a piece!

Oh... that one again. Rats. 😁 I LOVE every model I see from that KS but I only buy STLs, not physical models, so they just make me sad. Thanks for the information!

B. Griffith

Thank you, glad you enjoyed. That model is from Echoes of Camelot, by BigChild Creatives :)

Thank you Lisa. We are glad you enjoyed this lesson. And we looking forward seeing more updates from you :)

Craftworld Studio

Very informative, thanks! Any chance I could find out where that first mini comes from? (The cute little faun with the fireflies.)

B. Griffith

Thank you for the feedback, it will be really helpful to apply on another piece I am working on at the moment! And I agree, this is great because we learn not only from our own entry, but from the feedback to the other pieces as well. Thank you!

Edson Tirelli

I really enjoyed this challenge and I learned so much from it and it was interesting listening to the feedback for those pieces featured, lots to take away! Will definitely be trying it again on another model. Cannot wait for more of these in the future :)

Thank you very much Brad, we are happy hearing that. :)

Craftworld Studio

I couldn't agree more - this is great. Seeing you breakdown the lights and shadows of each piece is really informative!

Brad Marsh

We both love hearing that. Hope you enjoy it :D
