The simple pleasures

For me it was a book rather than a handheld game console. Tomy Pocket Football would have been the only such option in my day; this was not a device that could hold one's attention all afternoon.

2022-03-10 17:16:09 +0000 UTCThat's the one. Apparently it is a sought-after classic? I remember playing it once or twice and thinking "What's the point of this?" Real boring. I remember the baseball one too, but not basketball. There was another one where you drove a little race car and had to dodge obstacles as they blipped down the screen - that one made a little more sense but after about 20 minutes it too lost my attention.
