As for criticism, I am all for constructive criticism if I am looking for ways to improve, but... when I sign off mentally on a creative project and don't need to really think about it anymore, then criticism just becomes a burden for my heart to carry. And I don't like that.
There are tons of armchair quarterbacks who do absolutely nothing with their lives and their words have no impact on me because it's so so easy to think about how you think something should be done when you aren't even doing anything or have any idea of what goes into the work of making songs, or producing idols, or making art, or whatever. So I just ignore all of that. It doesn't even faze me one bit. Like... if you go on 4chan/2chan, there are PAGES of criticisms about me from random, anonymous people that are using that as a platform to be mean to me. But when I go to those pages sometimes just to check up on serious death threats (because there's a few of those on there for me), I end up laughing hysterically at some of the comments.. they are so far off base from me, who I am, the truth about things here... it's like... the absolute cluelessness that is on display there is borderline stand up comedy funny! None of it matters to me at all and I don't care about it even a little. But it is, at the same time, a bit scary to think somebody out there would actually take the time to think such hateful crap about you and they've probably never even met me, or walked a mile in my shoes.
And then of course... the idol world is TOTALLY a mirage... what people THINK they know about idols and what happens here is usually all smoke and mirrors. I could blow people's MINDS with the stuff I know about some idols that everybody in the foreign fan community tend to love and worship. I mean... it's almost too unreal to even get into.
But back to what you said... don't let critiques hurt you okay? You are beautiful, amazing, working on doing something for yourself, and just being completely awesome in LIFE! I adore you and so should everybody else in the universe!

Congratulations on the MV drop for CORD. It was absolutely incredible, from the music to the camerawork and the vision behind it. I need to be in a certain mood to enjoy screaming in music but with the singing parts to alternate between.. I absolutely love that!! You all did incredible.
I definitely understand your point about criticism. When you worked hard on something it always sucks to receive criticism even if it's from a good place of heart. I had someone criticize some creative work I've done, without me asking for it. It kinda hurt, yknow? I think people should only criticize when it's asked for.
I've officially moved to Spain! Unfortunately I'm not really sure if I can/feel comfortable with receiving mail here so when I order from IU I'll just let it ship to my old address in the Netherlands where my grandma still lives. Oh well, it means I have things to look forward to when I return in 6 months!
