Bare Knuckles and skinned knees

I've been buuuuussy. As usual. Tomorrow, oh man... got two interviews lined up, and I'm working on my biggest interview yet. Ricky's helping me with that one. I'm so grateful he's actually saying he'll find the time to make it happen, since I know he has his hands full. We had our Balzac Two Man live last night and, well... yeah, it was incredible for many reasons, like, you know... FUCKING BALZAAAC!!! They just killed it. Too bad not many people were there to see it or Necroma. I mean... we had a room full but... we had hoped for more.

Anyway, Necroma performed THE FESTIVAL for the first time. This was amazing to see because it's just the four girls now in Necroma and they killed it. Hima and Kaki especially killed it... and not just that song, but the entire night. Both were super on point, and Hima had an especially violent as fuck rendition of Sarnath. Something broke in her that night... she let it all out... I love when she channels that inner beast she's got hiding inside of her. It's incredible to watch.

I think, for me, Michelle kind of stole the show... at the end of the night, she jumped into the crowd for skulls in the stars.... I was like, YES! FINALLLLLY! A Necroma member jumped in the crowd during a live! I mean, Sari did it towards the final shows with Necroma, and Michelle at Earthdom stood on the shoulder of Yuiji, Himari's oshi, and I had to grab her and throw her back onto the stage as she leaned back and almost fell and broke her neck. I threw her gently, don't worry. I was lucky to be in the position to be there just as she almost paralyzed herself for life. She weighs all of a buck o five maybe, so it wasn't any big deal to do that. 

But seeing everybody hold her up in the air like that last night... and she's SOOOO LIGHT.... they could've thrown her pretty high in the air if they had wanted to, but the crowd just kept her raised up pretty good. I mean, for Necroma, that's pretty amazing. I was happy to see it. I hope she does more shit like that because it gets the heart going (and gets me all nervous because I'm like her parent in these situations... waiting for somebody to do something to her, or drop her lol. Thank God the Tokyo Necroma fans we all know and trust and there is a lot of love for them and them for us, so it's all good). The night was super busy for me since I was, at one point, using TWO cameras to record The Festival with both of my hands (The girls wanted it recorded on one of their phones so they could study the performance hard core, like they always do with every performance they give). And of course, running buppan, talking to the many foreign fans that were there, and on and on. Plus trying to arrange today's schedule, as Boss Rei, formerly of Burst Girl, said I could film her new band, Knuckle Chiwawa. 

I had to meet her super early in the morning, as they were on pretty early themselves during the Ka Punk festival that was going on at Shinjuku Loft (and other venues too). That was fun. Just pure, unbelievable fun, since most of the old GUSHIN were there. I saw ZAKA!!!! I haven't seen that dude since pretty much the last Guso Drop show I ever attended. I'll never forget him being raised up in the air during the Zepp One Man that Guso Did... I have a picture of that moment on my camera... it was soooo powerful to see that emotion in his face, like I had seen many times during the old Guso Roku Meikan shows, and many other shows we both attended and went crazy at. He made a point to come over and say hi to me. I was so happy.

The other Gushin were there, including the one fan who bought me the Guso belt and all their cds (and a beer too!) and kind of really helped the Gushin love and accept me so long ago. They were all there, supporting Rei and her new group, who, by the way, were awesome! They were so much fun! Just pure punk, totally unfiltered, and Rei doing Rei. It was old Rei school stuff too, like her using the megaphone, getting into the crowd twice and being crowdsurfed all the way to the back of the Loft Bar, and at one point, slapping her yakuza looking oishi right in the fucking face as hard as she could. Plus the crowd went apeshit nuts and since I was literally RIGHT THE FUCK UP FRONT, I got slammed into the stage. The stage in LOFT BAR is super low, so guess what got the brunt of that? My fucking knees, which right now, I can barely touch they are so bruised. BUT maaaan oh man did I get some amaazing footage of Rei with her new group. I am posting just a tiny sliver of screenshots (she said I could, so mwhaaah!). It's just... it was so much fun being with so many of the Gushin and a ton of crusty punks who were there checking out other groups that day. Even the Burst Girls were there... Anku and Roa, and if you look carefully in one of my pictures, you can see one of them...

After the show, I did a short mini interview with the group. I Love them. I mean, they are just the best, you know? Super happy and kind. I talked with their buppan guy too quite a bit. He's taken a lot of photographs of Rei and sells their buppan. I might get all of that onto Idol Underworld. Is there an interest for Rei merchandise? If there is, let me know? I might put it up just as a way of saying thanks to Rei for bringing me into Idol with her performance as both idol and as a punk. She's the fucking best. 

Though funny moment... when we first arrived at Loft and I was following them to the gakuya (backstage), she slammed the door right in my face. I am sure it was an accident, since I have been in that backstage a million times with Necroma and all the Loft Staff know me and I had a pass to give me access everywhere today, but yeah.. .that shit was funny. SOOOO REI. 

I did find her hiding out in the back area of Loft and was able to talk with her a little... she was telling me about allll the fun her and Hima have had. Those two are so cute together. Just so funny how Rei's face lights up when she was talking about her idol girlfriend looooool. 

Anyway, my goals this week are to raise 345 dollars to get some more terrabyte HDS. I'm almost done filling up my SECOND HD of terrabytes of footage. I also want to buy some extras and copy what I have already on them. And use whatever money I can to further back up everything on the cloud. I am getting super rare footage so I don't want anything to happen to it, you know? So maybe if you guys like some of my new tiers you can give me a hand?
