If you look closely, it has been said at many points that Yellow, Blue and Pink Diamonds did not exist when White Diamond created Rainbow Diamond. However, your theory is good because we don't know if Rainbow was exiled before or after meeting Yellow, Blue and Pink. I want to believe so. It makes sense that she would see the Great Diamond Authority in its prime and then make a copy of it in Color Planet.

Otherwise magenta is in pinks memories even if pink had maybe already turned into rose by any chance I don’t know if rainbow by any chance took magenta in pink’s memories or maybe it’s actually rainbow’s memory that she had from homeworld
