I don’t feel quite as passionate about the subject as you😊 but yeah, I hate ads and if a video starts with them telling me to like and subscribe, I usually stop there and watch something else. I’d rather pay for content then watch ads.

It should show in their creative works, not in placing 50 ads on a ten minute video or having to spend 5 minutes on an intro before getting to the actual content. The work and content should speak for itself and not have to rely on frustrating the users. But it's also partly some of the viewer's fault for not having an attention span longer than a few minutes. Go to the comment section of this video. You'll find many people who agree with me and whom share their own stories.

I also think it's invalid because what cost does a 20- 60 sec ad take off your life other than just that. If you're so bothered then it probably means you shouldn't be wasting your time on watching videos and instead be productive. I really enjoy YouTube. It's fuckin free. And to be that entitled really puts me off of being a supporter. But that's just my rant/opinion.

One thing that kinda annoys me is when a YouTuber mentions it's a sponsored video and they use that the first couple minutes of their video to explain their sponsor. I understand that this is a good thing for a Youtuber, but I don't like having to skip to the main part of the video.
