MINI REVIEW: This was an excellent movie, the pacing was fantastic with a good balance of story and murders happening throughout which is what is expected of a slasher movie.
I also love Laurie as a character as she's not the damsel in distress type at all. She's a woman who has been so traumatised by the murders that happened in 1978 that she's made it her mission over the years to prepare herself for a final confrontation with Michael Myers. I really loved how the writers included that basement as the ultimate trap for Michael even if he does escape.
