T-minus 15 minutes. As more people have shuffled into the courtroom and took their seats, Phoenix Wright was still in his stand alone without the girl he was supposed to defend.

"Need I remind you that in a case like this, your client could be put in jail for not attending their own trial?" Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth sneered, almost as if he was satisfied.

"I-I could say the same to you! A witness failing to show up could be charged with contempt!" Wright rebutted.

Both lawyers' respective stands remained devoid of their clients as minutes passed. Even Edgeworth eventually grew uneasy.

"At this rate they might as well share a cell together," he sighed.

Elsewhere several hours ago, someone managed to put two and two together. They concluded that the unreliable witness and the spirit medium are of great risks to them. So they ordered men to kidnap the girls, sedated them and put some work on them.

Then after all is said and done, they personally threw the girls in the ocean. The girls sank no faster, and then as fast as the concrete cylinder tied onto both their feet did.

They only woke up as they began swallowing water. At this rate, what could possibly save them...?
