Which Game Next For The Podcast?
Added 2021-02-24 23:00:28 +0000 UTCHey everyone, now that we've wrapped up our playthrough of Final Fantasy VIII, it's time to choose the next game to analyze on the podcast!
This time, we won't be adding any Final Fantasy games to the voting poll, because it will automatically win and we'd like to examine games outside of the series AT LEAST every other selection. This time, we'd like to try to stick to something that will be relevant in the coming months (or is just more modern). So, which of these options would you like to hear us talk about most?
Now, we'll most likely begin our analysis on previous versions (Nier PS3, Mass Effect Xbox 360, Skyward Sword Wii, etc.) and then jump into the remastered versions when they launch to talk about differences and so forth. That's the idea for now anyway.

I really hope even if Mass Effect doesn't win that you'll keep it on the poll listing for next time! It's such a vast game with incredibly rich lore & I think you guys would really have a fun time replaying / talking about it!

I don't know how many people will vote for it in this community (I think people would prefer us to cover games like Xenogears, Chrono Trigger, Grandia, and other games like that first), but I don't mind including it on a future poll. I suspect, however, that it will perform similarly to how Ghost of Tsushima did on this one.

For example I'd really like to see you analyse Legacy of Kain series (which is under SquareEnix as rights) as I think is one of the best stories I ever found in a videogame. Apologies if you did that already, but didn't find it :-) EDIT: especially because I do believe that some details in that story have been borrowed and put in the FF7 remake (see my post here https://www.reddit.com/r/FFVIIRemake/comments/mcwhio/ogremake_spoilers_just_finished_remake_and_i_have/ )

2021-02-26 06:18:40 +0000 UTCJust keep in mind that we had A LOT of people who said this about the FF8 podcast who then turned around two episodes later and thanked us for making it. Even for games some people might not have a ton of interest in, we may be able to sway them.
