I checked a filler list before watching, so already got those two crossed off. But yeah I can definitely see the inspiration from Naruto so far. I like it.

2019-02-14 13:20:01 +0000 UTCSome feel like the first couple of episodes are slow and they're definitely way more lighthearted so I'm glad you're enjoying them. Also, skip episodes 13 and 26 (if you want) as they're recap episodes. That's the only filler episodes out of 148! Btw, you'll see a lot of simimarities between HxH and Naruto because the latter got inspiration from HxH (mostly Naruto part 1, though a couple of things from Shippuden too). HxH's manga started in 1998. Kishimoto was a fan of Togashi since the Yu Yu Hakusho era (the other big manga created by Togashi). Great reaction! Keep it up :D

2019-02-14 11:31:21 +0000 UTCSpherical before you get drowned out by angry HxH fans just a heads up that the HxH manga came out a year before naruto and it’s clear Kishi took inspirations for a lot of the early concepts. (Kurapika’s red eyes/dead clan and the exam thing)
