Oh shoot I completely forgot to talk about the frogs death. I had assumed as much considering Colt had that memory of protecting Reina (obviously he seems to be somehow reincarnated from Kurt). And that brings in my theory of Gyro somehow being reincarnated (possibly into the king). Welp looks like I know what I'm talking about in the next episode discussion lol.

The people who got the harsh initiation at heavens arena got their ass beat by nen and unlocked their pores that way. Also that frog totally remembered being eaten by the Queen in it's past life.

2019-06-11 17:14:24 +0000 UTCI'm gonna have to second this. I feel like you're going out of your way to ignore details a lot of the time. Heck, you've mentioned it yourself a lot these past 4-5 episodes. The Mitene Union details, the chimera ants culture and NGL culture were stuff you really should pay attention to. Also NGl is geographically isolated alongside a couple of other countries as mentioned in eps 77-78. All of these should be taken into account.

2019-06-11 08:51:36 +0000 UTCJust gotta say, if you focus too much on the main cast and miss the characterization of the chimera ants you're gonna miss out on some of the larger, overarching themes and moments of this arc. For example, talking about characterization wise, the York New expounded more on the Phantom Troupe than it did Kurapika, and I believe that is what contributed to the overall perfection of that arc. Not to say you're neccessarily missing much, atm, just a heads up moving forward
