Yeah, even Netero said to Killua that if they sent weak hunters they'd only strengthen the enemy (because of phagogenesis). It's interestig how the king's power is basically phagogenesis but instead of reprodrucing the genes of those he eats, the king just acquires those genes himself.

I was more-so talking about how Pitou survived getting slapped by him last episode, and how if he gets too strong she might not be able to survive something like that again (especially once he starts actually using Nen).

Other characters like Colt have stated that the royal guards are below the king but are still very powerful. Anyways hyped for the next couple of episodes.

This might get contradicted in the future though, but it should be close to a year's time. Also, Gon's smooth AF. Keep your wives hidden cause he's the ultimate milf hunter.

2019-06-25 07:43:24 +0000 UTCThis episode justifies Netero's decision to not send anyone weak (Gon&Killua from earlier episodes) into NGL lol. The fact that Meruem gains strength as he eats rare humans is downright scary. Also, the direct comparison with dictators in both NGL and East Gorteau is beautiful. It's somewhat justifying Meruem's "point" about replacing humans as the "rulers" of this world lol.
