Check out the livestream from Saturday where I showcase the workflow with the Octacosm 0.6 Beta and the newly released Futureretro Vectra Synthesizer. The Vectra is a very cool synthesizer with an incredibly deep structure. This is a synthesizer for sound design enthusiasts in my opinion due to its complex workflow and the multitude of options it offers in terms of synthesis and modulation. It is a digital and analog synthesizer offering over 500 waveforms with a fantastic multimode mixing filter, which I had honestly never heard of before this synthesizer. It sounds fantastic. It doesn't have any built-in effects, which is why I paired it with the Octacosm, which did a great job during this stream. I have 20 loops made during the stream that you can download located at the bottom of this post.
Techno Performance Template 2.0 is coming along nicely, but I am still looking for the perfect noise samples for the risers. I need four of them. Anyone who thinks they have the best options, please share.
Soundcheck has been a total blast. If you are in the Soundcheck tier or the Private Lessons tier, do yourself a solid and join Soundcheck on Sundays at 10 AM PST. I've attached a summary of our last Soundcheck meeting so you can see what goes on during these weekly hour-long meetups.
Modbang February is this Tuesday, the 27th, in Ballard, WA, at the 4Bs. This will be a killer show.
