Dianna stood up! For the first time in years (REPOST)

You all read it correctly. After years of being too weak to hold herself up, Dianna has the energy to be able to stand! She has been standing once every couple days for about a minute. (Now taking a few days off).

I took this short video commemorate the occasion. Dianna's body has a long way to go, but she said she's so happy to start having her mind back again. Here and there she's able to enjoy some movies, T.V., most of all socializing with the people she loves. Hearing her speak and laugh is like a totally different person, more like the Dianna we know and love, healthy and awake. This was all not the case even as recently as September 2024.

Some of you have been here since the beginning, some of you as far back as the scary time in January 2023 when Dianna stopped being able to communicate. It's been a grueling couple of bed-ridden years, but the laughs I've shared with her the past couple weeks is the piece of mind and hope for the future I've been needing. I wish I could share it with all of you.

Like I said, her body is still really weak and has many years of recovery ahead of her. I'm just so happy Dianna gets to have some laughs this holiday season. And from the bottom of my heart, thank you guys so much for keeping us afloat during this time. It's saving my friend's life and we'd be hopeless with you.
