Way-Station at the Crossroads - 40x40

The Crossroads Way-Station, one of many dotted over the land, was built by a ruler several generations ago for the use of kingdom messengers, traveling officials, priests & those employed on the business of the state ... This one, at a major crossroads, has a resident caretaker who has their own little cottage on the other side of the river... The forest around the Way-station a has dense undergrowth of tree ferns that are easy to hide in but still afford a fairly easy movement through them...

I rather enjoyed creating a nice dense looking forest with a few little trails through it, and I have read several books recently that had way stations in them and have been wanting to make one of those too.. So here it is! I hope that you all meet some interesting characters here or perhaps spend some quiet time night fishing for the rare blue spirit fish in the river...
