Alternative Islander Creator Designs
Added 2024-01-29 16:22:58 +0000 UTCBefore we got the Islander Creator that's currently in the demo today, we actually went through a whole concept phase where multiple UI elements were created, judged, and then dropped entirely.
Here is some of the UI that didn't make it into the game:
These weren't the only scrapped concepts, however, as we have 2 more that actually somewhat made it into the game!
You know how the trait screen is a menu directly in the center of your monitor? Well, it came from this concept below!
Amazing, right?
And then we have the final UI design for the Room Editor. It's not essentially scrapped as the current Room Editor UI took inspiration from it. But, it's still nice to see what the editor UI could've looked like if we went down a different path.
Anywho, sorry for the lack of content within this post. I was sort of busy all week last week with my fulltime job and didn't have enough time to prepare a post for Patreon. I'll do better this week, I promise!
