2024-12-30 17:42:54 +0000 UTCSomeone else did the math (I refuse to do math, which gets me into trouble with the leveler items) and found that the crown is now a 13x multiplier to any single leveler item. Which, yeah, it isn’t world shattering, but it does let them power level the copied bracelets to the point that they can actually use the cluster shot power. Or maybe take one of the brooches up by an amount that lets them know it’s safe on the time scale of a decade to mass copy and distribute them. They could also pick one single item and push it up to being an artifact-style power. Since they still don’t know how many more powers there are to unlock, there could be any number of weird things waiting. But now, instead of having to wait for years to find out, they can do it in months. Less, as the crown itself levels up. Also the poly problem only comes up when James and Keeka are talking cause they have two *different* mutual boyfriends!

This should make them grow faster right? Not necessarily a fame changer but that seems pretty good. I am not poly, nor have I ever had a poly friend, but "your boyfriend" would seem to indicate Anesh, while "our boyfriend" would be Arrush. Just grammatically, English is actually equipped to handle this particular thing relatively succinctly. Unless the latter implies that Keeka and James are also boyfriends? Perhaps ther is need. I suggest moyf, a portmanteau of "mutual boyfriend" bot reduced to strip it of tertiary context.
