Again, I changed the colors again, but I kinda like the new one much better! Red makes Dabis scars look super fleshy, which I don't really like... I think that the yellow-magenta-blue colors are somewhat unsettling? Maybe because they're super unnatural? Idk. Maybe I'm making stuff up now haha!
For my taste, it's a bit too light, but I appreciate that one can actually see all the details...
It's funny how my style really involved into "flashy, saturated colors with dramatic lighting" when it first started with the lighting of his blue flames!
I get really lazy with backgrounds at the moment ... I feel like they're not really necessary for the kind of work I'm doing right now. What do you think? Is it a bad habit?

That's what I thought too! But it gives the feeling of a "photoshoot" and I don't really like it with such "dramatic" or "dynamic" poses/contexes /: If I added a gradient, the steam/smoke wouldn't be as visible as I wanted to, but I really like the vibe of it so I add it to almost every image now haha!

2023-04-13 15:13:56 +0000 UTCThe contrast between the lighter part and the dark background works imo! I’m not like a drawing artist (I like to write) but backgrounds make sense when it adds to the context or story you’re sharing by creating the picture.
