I kinda feel the "pressure" of being versatile and unique with each drawing again. It got really bad before I went on vacation and it's slowly creeping in again... When I scroll through my page, I see a lot of similarities in my work, from color to poses. I mean... I get it. I've drawn Dabi almost 100x and it's only natural that some poses repeat themselves. Idk. I worry very much about that.
That being said. This overall look is probably one of my favorites. I just love drawing Dabi with his messy hair, cocky attitude and exposed tits. I can't help myself. But when I was looking at references from my old work, I just noticed how similar some things I produce are. But that's just my most favorite way to draw him. /:

2023-06-25 15:54:05 +0000 UTCthe fact that you got a habit of drawing him in certain poses/angles actually gives off as his own mannerisms, like the way he feels comfortable posing. we all have certain poses/angles that work best for us, so by doing that with Dabi, youβre deepening our vision of the character through your own interpretation of his behavior and i think itβs REALLY cool. in a sense, it ties all of your drawings together because we always feel like weβre seeing the same person not by appearances but through his quirks (as in βhabitsβ and not βMHA quirksβ xD). love it and loooove the new piece π
