Serious Bird

It was very much a relaxing and experimental piece for me. I don’t do much work that only shows certain parts and rather small sections of an entire character – but here we go!
I wanted to focus on different light and colors and esp. expression. I mean… I’m pretty sure this exact picture exists in the manga somewhere. It’s a very Hawks-like pose/picture. But it definitely served its purpose! There’s not much to say about this except this was very welcome after the really exhausting pieces the last few times!
What really botheres me is that I can't really draw blood though. I mean, I guess it's ok overall, but I feel like I don't have enough experience to draw dried and fresh blood combined. Dried blood like this looks ok I think... And fresh, dripping blood is basically the same as water and I drew that on a Dabi piece already, but I cannot draw fresh, open wounds. To be fair, the manga portion this got inspired from (Hawks vs AFO in recent chapters) don't really show in what exact state the blood is.
