Regarding if Nigels crash would've stopped the race, i think it was in one of his autobiographies and it was the race director who said it to him...

It would be interesting to see a cross section of that survey that shows who chose which era, eg; which era would people born in the their 30s or 20s want to go back to, and how far back would they go compared to those who are a little older.

2025-02-04 23:35:52 +0000 UTCHonestly, I think even with the 'famous' races having a sort of already complete history done on them, the benefit of these videos outside the scope of the V10 era (and even the V10 era) is the hindsight opinions on events from drivers and team bosses that you get into, alongside the smattering of news and innuendo from the enthusiast press which helps add context to what was going on in the scene at that time.

2025-02-04 21:53:25 +0000 UTCGlenn bringing out the toy cars and saying he was playing with them as a kid not having a clue F1 actually existed reminds me of how for Christmas in the early 90s (1992/93 maybe?) I received from an aunt a set of Top Trumps Group C Cars - not really being that interested in them - and then nearly a decade later having got massively into Motorsport discovering I actually had these Top Trumps and thinking WOW these are class 😂 Anyway, I enjoyed the debrief as much as the actual podcast!
