Not all news are always positive!

Good Day Everyone!

All Patreon payments for the last month have now gone through and we would like to thank everybody who keeps supporting our work in these difficult times! What we would not give for this to be the end of todays announcement. Unfortunately, this is not the case, and what we have to say now weighs very heavily on our hearts.

Despite the constant updates we have been releasing for our Three Kingdoms, Warhammer 2 and Troy overhauls we have been unable to keep our Patreon numbers stable. Even worse, they seem to be in decline. Last month alone, around 25 Patrons left and another 60 had their payments rejected (for scale, that is more than 400 dollars). This sadly led to us to losing our gruellingly earned tier which guaranteed the support of Troy. So, to our deepest disappointment, from today our Troy Overhaul is no longer supported. We simply cannot afford to give up our lives and free time without the reciprocity we rely on to keep the lights on. Times are difficult and we spend so much on everything to ensure that its of the highest quality – we now do not have enough resources to keep covering everything. Mod development these days is anything but cheap if one wants it done correctly and on a large scale. If we manage to regain the lost tier once again, we will renew our support for Troy.

We feel that there is a need to reiterate something important before ending this announcement. Our mods and everything we have ever released is free and always will be. We hate paywalls and artificially limiting people’s access to things. This is not what we are doing here. We are only human and there are limits to how much we can do. In an ideal world there would be no need for Patreon. Unfortunately, we have now come to very much depend on the voluntary supporters of our work. With Radious forced to take extra shifts at work to manage a deepening crisis, the global pandemic getting worse and everybody seemingly being on a downward spiral there is not much more we are able to do without the support.

Amount of work coming on us is huge, massive Warhammer 2 DLC is on the way and will require hundrets of hours to update all our work once again and all that during busy and difficult Christmas times!
