Oo! Love this idea so much! I know some pretty good bots for roles are yagpdb.xyz and carl.bot! Roles are neat because they have a variety of functions. Some roles are more so descriptions of people (character roles can show who someone kins with the most from the series, astrology roles, age roles, continent roles, etc), there are color roles for people if they want their name to be a specific color in chat, there are also channel access roles (where you can access certain channels if you have the role, this would be great for setting up channels like nsfw or spoilers/fast pass). Tatsu bot works well for leveling roles (the more you chat=the more xp you gain=the higher ranked role you receive). An introductions channel would be nice as well so people would be able to introduce themselves to the community! Pictures and/or Videos channel would also be useful so if people wanted to send pictures/videos in they would send it into that specific channel rather than sending it into General chat. Maybe a simp channel as well lol. Also, in server settings you can enable community builder which gives you access to more moderation tools! Here you can set up a system that has your server rules pop up for any new joiners so that they have to read and accept the rules before being able to chat! I think this would be super helpful because rules are often overlooked and chat could potentially become uncomfortable without the proper moderation or without people respecting server rules. Dyno bot also has helpful functions such as setting up audit logs that help keep track of information like members who join/leave or edited/deleted messages. Dyno also has an auto mod function that helps insta kick/ban/warn members/bots who mass spam (helpful in auto-kicking/muting possible raiders, unfortunately server raids have been popular recently.) The mod feature also can auto ban words (really helpful in ensuring no slurs or hate speech is written in chat). As the server owner, giving the administrative role to any other role is risky, if you need help with server building or moderating then you can just edit the roles of admin/moderators to give them the permissions they need to moderate (i.e manage messages, edit channels, edit roles, etc). For @/everyone role in settings, be sure to turn off permissions like create invite or people can create invites to the server! Server boosts give the server more perks: more emotes, better streaming quality and animated server image. A server booster channel for server boosters would be neat as well and may encourage people to want to boost the server. Simple booster perks could be access to the exclusive channel and a honorary role/role color. So sorry I'm responding 4 weeks late but I hope you were able to set up the server well in the mean time.
