I'm not sure how funny this actually is. I think it's hilarious. It was going to be in the original THE PRANK comic, but it felt like too much. Now it can live on as a bonus comic. Hope you enjoy.
A bit of backstory, Ellie has a Bachelor's Degree in Library Science. She's just two years short of her Masters Degree. She has a keen interest in the art and science of the restoration and preservation of books. She hopes to one land a sweet job restoring books at the museum (where she'll soon be interning), but for now helps run the county public library programs. She also get's to read to kids at story time, which she loves!
Okay, I'm leaving town today for work and will be back on Monday. There will be a blank sheet of bristol board waiting for me. We'll see what kind of ideas I have this weekend (not that I don't already have plenty to work on). ^^;

I replied to this message on my phone, but for some reason it didn't go through. Ah well... Yes, she's referring to the idea Marcus calling himself Mistress M as stupid. Originally she was going to say, "Not very subtle," but I changed her response to stupid because I thought it would give a stronger reaction. I might change it back to subtle. This comic is proving to be a challenge. I think it's funny though. :)

For a minute I thought the lady was "breaking the fourth wall" and referring to us, the patrons of Stereoscope Comics, and saying they'll start the story over. :) On the plus side, I love that you put a lot of thought like this into the backstories of the characters--they're not just a bunch of anonymous "hot babes" tying each other up. That's great!

Also, I actually work for a public library as a technical assistant. Fun fact, bachelors degree in library science are less than a year old. Before there were only AA and master degrees. It's cool you included an event that libraries use. Did you work for a library, know someone who does, or have you done a summer reading program before?
