Every try to have coffee with a new friend and they just can't help but bring up bondage? Just because they saw a tasteful art book sitting on your coffee table? Isn't it wonderfu-- uh, annoying?!
I'm kinda hot and cold about this page. It doesn't progress the story as much as I'd like. When I was laying everything out, I was thinking about how small the pages are (manga sized) so I needed to make the panels bigger, but I ended up sacrificing the pacing I think. It still has a nice hook to keep people reading, but it's definitely a manga/comic page, not a webcomic page.
I think I can do much better with the next page. I'll try not to rush. ^^;
Something else I've noticed about digital art...much easier on my wrist, back and shoulders. :)

Couple reasons, mainly that I really like manga sized books (particularly the slightly large manga trades).

Sorry that your pacing changed due to the shift, but I think you can find a balance with now and what you want the more you continue. Keep experimenting,. This is a cute page! Also, glad to hear this is less strenuous on your body.

I'm a delayed gratification sort of guy, not like you folks who are always in such a hurry to get to the heavy breathing stuff 8-)

2018-08-09 09:19:49 +0000 UTCI'm kind of ok with it being a Manga page. I'd rather this story was slow burn partly because the payoff is going to be worth it but also because it's nice to have less 'busy' pages. Also Ellie's face at the end is priceless!
