the 'typical' manga style is usually cartoony and exaggerated. There are more realistic manga out there. But even the more realistic ones can be more exaggerated than typical comic art.

2019-06-26 04:18:41 +0000 UTCThis is one of the reasons I like the "manga" style. You can get away with lots of facial expressions (like this one) that you couldn't accomplish with a more realistic style. Manga doesn't get a lot of respect from some artists, but haters gonna hate! :)
