I like the color mix as well! Black works really well on Val, better than purple did. That "regal purple" better befits Sam's dress, making less of a "fit plum" impression and more dominating royalty. Befitting for her role in their play.

That's kinda my thoughts too. I'm fine with at least one "love story" so to speak. But Val strikes me as someone who would keep the domination play strictly pretend. Meg and Ellie become more involved in reality, but I could see Val being more objective, even as a sub.

Very certain they'll get focus in later chapters. If the narrative I remember from very early art pieces is anything to go by, first Sam will be trained by Meg on how to be a good Dominatrix and Val will become her sub when she eventually gives in to her interest.

I'll be openly honest, I'm not thrilled about the idea of another pairing after the confirmation of Meg and Ellie. One is enough! But I'm going to let this one slide, at least as long as the men don't get marginalized. Which so far, they haven't for as few as are there. (And on a side note, this DOES put the comic in safer legal territory. But I suspect we'll see at least one male dom at some point.) Edit: There have been comments about Val being like a possessive puppy towards Sam. That does sound about right, and the right kind of relationship Val would willingly commit to. Where Meg and Ellie go beyond play, Sam and Val would keep that aspect away from their non-sexplay lives. Doesn't mean they don't make the most of it, they just don't "fall in love" so to speak.
