Ayaka thought it would be just another quiet walk home at sunsetโฆ until a black cat caught her eye. She couldnโt resist playing with it, smiling sweetly as the minutes slipped away. But by the time she noticed how dark it had gotten, it was already too late.
The first drops of rain fell, and panic flashed across her face. She ran, her uniform clinging tighter with every step, but the storm showed no mercy. Soaked and breathless, she ducked into an alley, hoping for shelter. Instead, she slipped and collapsed onto the wet ground.
That's when it happened. The part of herself she never wanted anyone to see. Her secret. โจ
Her feet began to glow, faint at first, then brighter with each heartbeat. She whimpered softly, tugging off her soaked socks and shoes, as if stalling the inevitable. But nothing could stop it now. Her toes pressed together, webbing forming, delicate scales spreading up her legs.
The rain only made it worse, pushing her body further into the change. She cried, trembling as her legs gave way completely, replaced by a long, shimmering tail that thrashed helplessly against the pavement.
And there she wasโฆ Ayaka, drenched, shivering, and transformed, unable to hide anymore. A beautiful mermaid caught in the storm, vulnerable and exposed... ๐ฆ
