Why did the Bay of Pigs Invasion Fail?
Added 2024-10-04 20:52:58 +0000 UTCI got to travel to Miami in June, and while I was there I visited the Brigade 2506 Museum and Library, a place honoring the veterans of the Bay of Pigs Museum. This inspired me to make this video. There's probably a lot about the Bay of Pigs Invasion you don't know about. In this video, I try to add some nuance to explain why the invasion perhaps wasn't as big of a failure as we tend to think it was.

I don't remember much about it except that communism was taking over Cuba and the US was under threat. Now at least I understand a bit more about it. Too bad about the CIA having such a strong hold on our politics.
