Haha I respect your idea yep but still not. Cause Japanese dub got the total idea of what death note story is.. I mean they do better at expressing EXACT NATURAL EMOTIONS on certain situations, PLUS that it so much matches with the story line (the way it is) & stuff mann.. its the original after all

Actually Omar I think Episode 25 will be a better stopping point, it is the midway point of the story, and the next episode (26) serves as essentially half a recap episode, so it will be perfect to jog your memory back into it when you return.

english dub is sometimes good yeah but japanese dub has a lot more emotions... realistically

Not exactly, it's Raito, to be precise it's 月(meaning moon) and you read it as ライト(raito or light.. but no Japanese person would consider he is spelled like the English word if this makes sense. Raito is a pretty normal name here). If you are used to subbed content these might have translated it as "light" to avoid confusion.

Bro, I haven't watched Death Note in like 15 years, this is gonna be interesting : D (Information about the name in case anyone cares) His name should be "Raito" in Japanese, which is a fairly normal name. However, if you spell the English word "light" in Japanese letters you would get "raito", as well. It is a play on words so to keep that in there they must have decided to go with "Light" in the dub. In addition, his name is not written with Japanese characters that would usually be read as "raito" but 月(usually read as "tsuki"), which means moon and is further leading to his name being associated with light. Complicated enough, I know 😂

I'm convinced that you just need to react to all the anime I need to rewatch. I'm more likely to actually get to the rewatch that way, haha. Also you get introduced to the very infamous Truck-kun in this episode. A cold-blooded killer across a number of anime.
