Omar, the time line is (ans this is me, maybe i am incorrect): OVA Lost Girl / next day / S01E17. The letter send by Reiner must contain the hints for the plan in a secret way. That is why, by all means, she try to close the case, and be free the next day (not in paper work).

2022-06-05 20:44:53 +0000 UTCI think what makes OVAs not part of the main story is because they don't revolve around the main characters and/or progress the story somehow. They just give some more extra filling to the cake that is AOT ^^
