I liked when Mappa took over too. So many people were hating when this happened but they did such an amazing job. And I hated my war at first too but it became my favorite opening. So glad you’ve gotten to this season.

This episode was indeed so confusing but amazing at the same time. Absolutely love how different the scenario is to what we are already used to.

When I first watched the episode, I also thought it was taking place in the past (until they showed Reiner) for some reason, so I was very confused like you as well. It can be a frustrating start to the season with the information you know, but I assure you it is intentionally presented this way and is masterfully crafted!!
