Man, I remember how excited I was watching this episode when it first came out. Such a badass fight. And the crazy part is that the rumbling episode from AOT came out the day after. Every Saturday and Sunday, it felt like Ufotable and Mappa were fighting for who had the best episode.

So it is last 2 episodes of this season + first episode of new season that is 1 hour long. Loving your reaction as always and can't wait to get into season 3 with you when it comes out in April!

And this ending showed us the aftermath of it all destroyed (which fun fact there was a real entertainment distric in Japan that got destroyed by a huge fire in this time period) . It was a beautiful 10/10 episode

My first impressions when I saw it were that the excuses for people still being alive were silly and detracted from the quality of the episode. In hindsight I don’t really care now but it was an imperfection when I first watched it
