I find it interesting how Thorfinn doesn’t realize it yet, but I feel like he subconsciously considers Askeladd as his father figure. Yeah, we’ve seen him dream about Thors a few times, but the only one he ever thinks about in his times of need is Askeladd. This encounter with Snake, the Valhalla/zombie part, the first meeting with snake.

Which IMO is more badass and makes more sense than your "you think you can win with your head in the clouds?". Idk why your netflix subtitles are different from mine. so weird. I'm assuming "mine" are correct though, not sure. Although after watching a fair bit of anime i'm pretty sure askeladd used the word sleep somewhere (because i recognize the sound), which makes me more inclined to believe i have the correct translation
