I remember some people didn’t like that the opening song started playing in the middle of Yuji’s breakdown but since this arc is all about the villains it makes it look like it’s mocking him which is very fitting (I liked it)

I’m not sure if you noticed but Megumi has attempted to summon Mahoraga multiple times throughout s1 (the way he holds his fists and reciting the swing ring ring thing) including against sukuna (which sukuna mentioned in this ep) and hanami, the special grade he did his domain expansion against etc. He decided to do his domain expansion that time because he remembered Gojo saying that dying to win and risking death to win are 2 different things and megumi should be greedier and not rely on this trump card.
