I tend to make a cartoony -realistic style so I'll have to draw the same eye in both styles!
I recommend checking out a lot of reference photos or even record a video of yourself and pause to take notes. Of course, another resource is 3D.
Check out this cool link! It's a 3D gallery were 3D artists upload their pieces and can even sell the design for others to use.
