If you feel you may be recognized maybe you could be honest and explain how your privacy in regards to Vtubing is super important to you. Alternatively you could play dumb and avoid the topic as much as possible Regardless I hope you work uo the courage to go out more often and have fun with friends!

Kind of an awkward situation to be in for sure, normally I'd just come clean but if it's about being a vtuber where your privacy is super important, keeping it secret might be the way to go, especially if it's with friends. Just look out for the day your friend sends you a Pikamee clip LOL

それは怖い 昨今のVの勢いは凄いから一般的な認知度も上がってきてるからね。 その友達にバレてるバレてないといえばまだバレてないと思うよ？ しかし、こればっかりは難しい問題だと思う。 外に出なくても過去は消せないからどう頑張っても知人にバレる可能性はあるし。バレないようにするよりはバレた時の事を考えておいた方が良さそうかも 特にどこに住んでるとかは絶対に言わない方が良いと思う。

Sometime I think you could ask her opinion about Pikamee if she say she watch pikamee but be careful try not to expose yourself. It's fine if you refuse to go meeting or party if you feel uncomfortable. Recently I do too because I don't want to waste my money right now which I am trying to save it if I got student Visa so I have to come up with excuses to all my friends. LOL
