Teardown complete: Phase 2-ish

This is the current state of the van…

Pretty! 🤓

The wiring has now been totally removed (after fighting it like a spaghetti bastard, at one point almost losing and getting entangled in it’s evil grasp)

And now the new manual wiring loom has been fed in.

The drivers side wing has been removed as it and the panel that holds it, well it’s just not there anymore! So more welding to do, as well as a total copy paste of the sill/step repair from before. 🤦‍♂️

Oh! But yesterday I waved goodbye to the “sprintshit” gearbox! A lovely chap from Romania has managed to fully ruin his, so he’s taking it all the way home, giving it some love and it’ll be pushing his Luton around Romania from now on.

The past few days things have ground to a holt, I’ve been struck down by man flu, that you will clearly hear in the voice over of the next video, and we’re also taking a much needed holiday/test run in Emma’s van over the next two weeks.

So Amber will sit here as is for a short while, but good news is I have so much to catch you up on you won’t notice!

I’ve definitely been operating past capacity for probably 3 months now and It’s beginning to take it’s toll, so this break is a much needed recharge.

The next video is just having it’S music added so I’ll hopefully have it with you by Friday, our departure day!
