The wedding and other UK stuff 🇬🇧

Hello you lovely lot, how we doing?

Just a quick photo update for you whilst we’re busy getting some bits done here in the UK.

The wedding was Saturday just gone and was well worth the trip, Emma got to see a load of her old work colleagues and I got to meet all of them and put faces to many stories I’ve been told, I was welcomed to the clan and many drinks were had! plus we got to dress/suit up which is a rarity these days!

With that behind us it’s now time to get some UK stuff done.

I have ordered basically all of Ebay which will royaly piss my parents off when said order cascades through their front door. 👍 This list comprises of all sorts of bits, big and small that are just impossible to get in Portugal.

I’ve dug out the old wheels from the “other sprinter” which are now getting sand blasted, powder coated and some nice big tyres on them. All in an effort to sort my fuelling issue with the van. It’s improved a lot with use but the RPM’s are still a little too high so larger wheels should bring it back to previous running levels.

I’ve managed to get a steal of a lawnmower off of FB marketplace, proper job petrol self propelled for £80 👌 Its the “Belmoral” model which is quite fitting what with HM’s big day just gone, so when referring to all things mower in future, this will require heightened levels of speech and vocabulary thank you very much. 🤓👑 Belmoral will work it’s royal rotary magic on the bottom field and limit Lance’s vet attendance from grass seeds.

All of you that asked for stickers from the wind turbine video they have gone out yesterday, there are still a few left so if you want one just PM me an address, doesn’t matter where in the world you are and no payment required.

We’re in the UK a little while longer but it feels good to be getting stuff ticked off and making preporations to help us out later on down the line. for now I’ve taken a trip down memory lane and parked up at an old campsite I used to use way back when I first started living in the van and this place hosted my “luxury” sunday nights in prep for work on Monday morning. Hasn’t changed a bit.
