Next installment for you. and the following one is just uploading and ready for Weds. I'd like to get this series done and dusted before Xmas and theres still a lot so I'm going to push a bit to get 2 out a week, we will see how that goes! lol
After a few days spent at possibly the most well hidden spot I've ever found, I reluctantly left before me and the dog turned fully feral and headed for Civilization. I was having a travelling "off day" and couldnt make my mind up, so decided it was time for a few luxury days at the first campsite I could find. the campsite was incredible but it wasn't long before I decided what I wanted to do, and that was heading to the vanlife mecca - The Algarve.
I really enjoyed making this one, I teamed up with a new startup music service called Syncvault and trialed a number of the tracks and artists they have to offer, this is not a plug I'm just really chuffed with the music, theres alot more heart in it.
I look back on the last video and kinda regret the "arrival to the spot" track, it was waay too poppy and I now have to sit through it tonight whilst it goes public to everyone else... XD
Anyway I hope enjoy, the next two I'm stocked with their outcome, even if the next one has some shitty news.

2020-12-07 17:17:31 +0000 UTCHow I envy your progress through Portugal while I'm stuck in the UK for the first winter in ages. I commend you for your determination to learn the language and I have a couple of tips that I found made learning it much easier and enjoyable. Firstly every bar & cafe in Portugal has a TV tuned in to the national news and usually with subtitles because the sound is turned off. You can gain the gist of the news article from the pictures and look up the words you don't understand with your translation machine. Also when they have an English movie on terrestrial television they don't dub the soundtrack like the Spanish do, so you can listen in English while reading the Portuguese translation underneath. My second suggestion is to listen online to the local folk music; Fado. The songs are passionate ballads and the lyrics can be found online together with their English translation.

I has never been great on fuel, but I was so chuffed it hadnt gotten any worse since the additions. Mine is probably 24-26mpg on a good day. but I have an entire house in it so I offset that as "rent" haha. Ahh beautiful man, I love that part of france, safe journeys!

2020-12-04 20:03:36 +0000 UTCNice one CJ, talking of fuel consumption as you were, how about this, my van is a 2009 Ducato 5.4m, factory conversion. I always got 31-33 on a trip, spain regularly and france. Ive just upgraded wheels to 16' with Goodrich all terrain KO2's. I knew fuel consumption would be affected... But struggle to get 26-27 now at a steady 55 to 60, anything more, and it cruises at 70 all day, it drops alarmingly !! The van looks good though ! π€¦π»ββοΈ Ouch, currently in France near La Mans on my way to Spain. ππ»
