13: Roadtrip to Not Quite Nazare
Added 2022-08-22 14:40:02 +0000 UTCOh this one took a while! Sometimes a video can just click and fly together, other times the music never fits and you sit and procrastinate over each segment. There's a lot been added, tweaked and taken away before I was happy with this one, and yet it's still one of the longest vlogs I've done. But the subject of this video was one of my favourite trips to date around Portugal.
This year's summer heat has hit a new high this year since records began 80 years ago. What a year to return!
We've survived pretty will with this in mind, but after weeks of extreme heat, EVERYTHING os now boiling, baking or wilting. Including us.
So we made a decision to run away and escape the worst of the incoming heatwave by heading to the coast. The aim was the famous town of Nazare...
but that didn't quite happen.
