23. Van Dock Phase 2

Hello you lot!

I hope all is well with you all. I've been struck down with man flu this week which has been just wonderful whilst looking after a 3 legged Spaniel. 😆

Lance is doing great though, the op went really well and on day 3 he started using the leg again! I assumed he'd be lame for weeks and we'd have to carry him everywhere, but instead it's been more of a job to slow him down and keep him in once place to not over work the leg.

The cone of doom is now off! Thank god because it was causing him some real (and funny) issues inside the vans...

But he's well on the mend and will be back to his usual antics in no time.

Right, down to today's video.

With Emma still back in the UK, I needed something to keep me busy, a project to occupy my mind & what better project than the other half of our van dock.

It's sat in it's half built stage for way too long now, so I decided to surprise Emma by getting it built for her return.

It was all a little more effort with only 1 pair of hands but it was just the activity I needed, I loved every second of this build. Music & podcasts on, cold drinks throughout, birds chirping away all day and the sun gleaming at just the right temperature. 👌

I think you all know by now that the videos trail a little behind real-time, so don't be alarmed by seeing Lance running around, this was filmed before his accident.

But I really enjoyed making this one. Sometimes they drag and I’m never happy with them, others like this one click together and are a pleasure to sit n do.
