Facelift…. or arselift?

As I make my way around the van, tinkering and tackling the never ending list of maintainance and improvements, I found myself staring at the 4x2M butt and thinking “this just won’t do!”
All of the lights are beginning to fail on the rear now, 1 LED at a time they get dimmer, the portuguese sun has cooked the lenses almost opaque and the lights are no longer even made.
So a facelift is in order!
No idea when Ill get around to doing this, MOT is looming so there is more pressing jobs, but I can’t wait to bring this massive be-hind bang upto date with diffused glow tail lights and dynamic (audi) indicators EVERYWHERE!

For a long time I have been used to seeing people upgrade to the 'hamburger' style light. They can be used as the incandecent or LED variants. One on each corner would be the minimum but putting 2-3 on each back corner certainly helps with visability. Even more so if you mounted one low down and one higher up. Being able to ensure that you are well seen from behind is always a good thing on any vehicle but its something that you're the one that has to chose. Good Luck ;)
