We have some actual machinery on the land doing ground work instead of us attempting to shift it by hand.
Don’t get me wrong, I quite liked the manual labour we did, beats staring at a gym wall doing the same thing.
But progess was slow and we needed a bigger turning circle for the vans like last year.
A friend Dave in the next village over brought his little digger and its making mince meat of the old slate pit.
We’ve also be burning the huge pile of overgrowth that’s been torn out after the fire, and olive branches after our first attempt to clip them all down, that is an art I have not yet mastered.
Things are winding down here as again we are heading home for Xmas, NY & unfortunately a funeral, so ai hope I grt to film the last bit of digger work and where all that earth is going before we leave.
But I’m getting ahead of myself, I still have a few folders of projects to get into first.
Hope you’re all well,
C.J
