Supporter Newsletter - December
Added 2022-12-01 23:12:18 +0000 UTCHello to all of our beautiful Supporters! It's that time again here on Requiem for another newsletter. It's finally that time of year that many places are seeing snow and here in sunny Florida we are getting temperatures in the 60s and 70s. (That's Fahrenheit for all you Celsius geniuses out there.) It's honestly one of my favorite times of year because the weather is so much nicer and I don't have to worry about being attacked by a hurricane. (Sorry for everyone getting snowed in though.)
What an awesome month we had for November. We finally got Season 8 for Sea of Thieves and even showed off a new pvp event. This event is only the beginning for what we have in store. There's so many more ideas that we want to try for events, especially when it comes to pvp but one of the hardest road blocks we encounter is the need to setup a server for these events. We are trying our best to work with Rare on these things but it's practically like talking to a brick wall with their team unfortunately.
For the month of December there is going to be so much going on that we already have planned. For our Admins, Moderators, and especially our Officers, we have some amazing gifts, goodies, and lots of giveaways. (Everyone on our team will be receiving something for this holiday season!) For all of our Members and amazing Supporters, we have something happening almost everyday in December. There will be contests, events, and too many giveaways to count so keep an eye out for that.
Jumping into expenses for the previous month please be aware that I am only speaking on all money spent within Requiem. This does not include any out of pocket costs and/or anything we did not spend for the month.
- Staff Benefits (28%)
- Staff Payments, Team Budgets, Officer of the Month, Staff Gift Cards, etc.
- Server Hosting & Design Work (22%)
- VPS, Dedicated Machines Hosting, Graphic Design, Video Editing, etc.
- Events & Giveaways (30%)
- Community Events, Community Giveaways, Prizing, etc.
- Normal Monthly Savings (20%)

None of the above is limited to what has been mentioned. There could easily be something I missed on the list but may be roping those expenses in.
We really want to show our love and appreciation to everyone in Requiem for the Holidays. Everyone deserves something special and to feel the Christmas joy. This community has become a home to so many creative, outgoing, and thoughtful people. As always, thank you all for everything you've done for this Community and for supporting us these past years. We couldn't do this without you!
Wishing you the happiest and most joyful Holidays!
