The Fly (1986) DISGUSTING MOVIE REACTION! | FIRST TIME WATCHING!!

Comments

The days leading up to Election Day have been super stressful and I’ve appreciated and look forward to you guys providing the laughs. I think this one was my favorite.

Great video as always, I forgot how gross this film was lol. Other David Cronenberg films you should check out are The Brood and Scanners, maybe Videodrome but that was too weird, not a fan of that one.

Your reactions were classic--welcome to Cronenberg country!

Brad Bunch

Another great video ! I think your post-reaction analysis is getting better and better.

If you love this one, check The Brood also written and directed by David Cronenberg. It's a masterpiece of psychological body horror.

Two French Bears React

This is my favorite film of all time. I'm so glad you watched it!

Ah, the height of body-horror. This came out when I was 12. The thing that always bothered me was the arm wrestling scene. Too real for me. Everything else seemed like fantasy otherwise.

Matt O'Keefe

Glad you watched it, it's a great film. I saw this in the theatre in its initial run and I can confirm no-one was quite ready for that ending. It's stayed with me forever, easily a top ten film for me.

When you're talking about a tragedy. You're totally right. By the way, there is The Fly (the opera) in two acts by Canadian composer Howard Shore.

Great reaction guys. Almost thought Tom was actually gonna throw up πŸ˜‚.

You mentioned liking scifi horror stuff. For that I recommend "Pandorum" from 2009. It's not a truly hidden gem, because it has issues. But as a scifi horror movie it excels at scaring you, telling a compelling story, and having you wonder. It's on the same level as "Event Horizon", which is another great scifi horror movie with Jurassic Park alumni.

This movie is amazing (The Fly 2...not so much) I own the score to this film and everything about it just works! I don't think it would have worked with anyone other than Goldblum however.
