Pan's Labyrinth (2006) MOVIE REACTION! FIRST TIME WATHCING

I was lucky enough to see Guillermo in Portland Oregon over 10 years ago when he released his vampire book “The Strain” - he did a long Q&A (at least 1.5 hours) and I took my dad since this is one of his favorite movies too. Del Toro came across as a truly genuine, passionate and nice person who absolutely loves what he does. He gave out his email address to the whole audience when people said they wanted to work with him! Who does that? I also saw an exhibit of his collectibles, costumes, and other art in LA a few years ago. He’s such a brilliant mind. While I think he’s at his peak here, you’ll like Shape of Water too. He has such a unique style, as you mentioned. The violence he depicts is so graphic and disturbing too! By the way, it’s pronounced “Ghee-yare-mo” 😉

I am totally a fan of both Tom and Shaun. Thank you both for the content and please keep it coming.

Love y'all! This movie rocks, I find myself thinking about The Devil's Backbone more these days, but Pans Labyrinth was formative. The film's core conceit as y'all said was about revolving around blind obedience and how that empowers oppression. Also, Guillermo Del Toro is Mexican even though the film is about the Spanish Civil War. The 'Pale Man' scene is a nasty little vignette about the blind reach of white men at the expense of anyone else. GDT is absolutely one of those directors I could listen to talk about stories forever. A really brilliant mind.

Yes!! I saw this in the theater. Great job with the reaction. It was a fun video.

Hell yeah, i was waiting for this one :D

Most likely this weekend when we release this on YouTube on Friday 😊

...also when you get the chance check out "The 36th Chamber of Shoalin" I saw this film years ago on a rainy Saturday tv afternoon movie. It has a great story and the actors are the real deal ..you won't find anything fake in the fight sequences which are really intense and mind blowing... It was released in 1979 I saw it on tv in 1980 ,and it holds up to this day...There's a really great English dubbed version without any annoying subtitles.. Either Netflix USA or Ebay here's the intro. ... https://yotu.be/3tkhmErNXd4

If you guys want to react to another creepy thriller movie made in the 70s check out "Deliverance".. And two kung fu movies that are outrageously crazy and funny check out "kung pow enter the fist" and "kung fu hustle" they are both nutty outrageous ,and crazy with lot of action and shit your pants humor! Humor that will make you Shit your pants that is!!

Guillermo use to be a makeup fx and monster maker for horror films back in the 90s and is an amazing artist.. At one time he had a sketchbook series on Amazon .com packed with his creatures and monster designs.... My favorite movies were his "Hellboy" series and more recent "Shape of water".. Its really something to see!!

Guillermo Del Toro is such an amazing director. You guys should definitely check out his other movies. He also co-wrote a series of books a couple of years ago called The Strain, The Fall, and The Night Eternal that were so awesome . They also turned it into a T.V. show. You should check those out too.

I'm glad you guys rated it what you rated it because I thought you'd be more critical about it at the end. Definitely one of the most unique films I've seen from global cinema.

Glad y’all enjoyed it. I think that’s what is great about this film that by the end everyone has a different interpretation and opinion on whether it was real or just her imagination. I’m on the “it was real” side. This is one of my favorites... a fairy tale for adults.
