RoboCop (1987) MOVIE REACTION! FIRST TIME REACTING!!

Great reaction, guys! In 1987, Predator and RoboCop were the big blockbusters of the summer, and when they came out on VHS, I remember liking Robocop more. However, I totally agree with your Sci-Fi ratings so far. While Predator holds up pretty well, Robocop definitely shows its age. Its social commentary was more obvious and appropriate back in the day, while Predator proves to be more timeless and still appeals to all ages. I’d also rate Predator higher than Robocop now. Still a great movie, but I realized that you talked to each other a lot ore than usual during the movie (which was fun). Might have been a sign that it doesn’t capture its audiences as much as it did when it was released, but I’m glad you didn’t totally dismiss it and still see its strengths. Keep going, I love your channel. Best there is.

Speaking of Paul Verhoven, I would absolutely loose it if you did a reaction Showgirls. It's really not as bad as the critics and the general public at large made it out to be. It would be a fun watch.

Oh nice. I see Mad Max is on there...You know THE ROAD WARRIOR (mad max sequel) is probably better than the original and you don't need to have seen the original to understand it.

Just an observation ... you guys seemed to enjoy this more than your rating for this movie.. btw i saw ROBOCOP in the theater when it came out. Instead of Robocop 2 or Robocop remake review you should just go ahead and do Paul Verhoven's other 2 big sci fi movies TOTAL RECALL AND STARSHIP TROOPERS. The satire in Verhovens movies is always top notch... i definately see a Starship Troopers review in your future. If you do a THRILLER/SUSPENSE week then maybe BASIC INSTINCT should go on your list and we can all watch you watch Sharon Stone cross and uncross her legs - lmao

I think you guys gave the film fair scores. I remember watching this on TV with my older brother when I was 7, and the over the top violence somewhat traumatizing me. But now its one of the reasons I love this film. Its over the top fun mixed with satire/social commentary.

Love this movie. Glad you guys liked it. It is over the top but that's why I love it. I remember they actually made an animated show and toys. My brother had the Ed-209 and Robocop figures. You two should defintely check out the sequel, it's over the top and fun as well.

It definitely holds nostalgic memories for me, I was about 12 when it came out and saw it with my mother in the theater.
