Just watched the full length reaction with you. Thought it was a great chance to revisit the film, as it has also been more than a decade for me. It’s still a fun movie and indeed very “Raimiesque” (especially in the Evil Dead 2/Army of Darkness kind of way - Thanks for coining that term, btw), but it’s not more than that. Just like the Big Mac meal I had last last night, but not the Filet Mignon I’d remember. For me it’s a solid 6.0 - above average and a whole lot of fun, but nowhere near of being a masterpiece or a cult classic. Love your idea of a Patreon playlist. Brokeback and Braindead are settled, I’d say 😂; and I also hope that “Requiem for a Dream” will find its place in that list. Because Shaun likes emotional drama, and after his 10/10 for “A Ghost Story”, you guys just have to watch it. It grabs you and stays with you long after.
